Finding creative fuel for new designs is sometimes challenging, finding a quiet, cat-free environment in which to create these designs – even more so. George took a keen interest during the production phase of the latest bracelet designs. Not usually one for digging around in beads, George took time out from his busy day to pass judgment on my new creations. Not sure if he approves or not, can you tell?

These new stretchy bracelet designs feature combinations of my favorite stones mixed with coconut shell or other shell heishi beads. I try to make color combinations that are pleasing to the eye and the multiple strands are strung on stretchy elastic cord so they will fit a multitude of wrists. If you need something larger than “normal” please let me know…I confess to making bracelets on the small side…my wrists are the only dainty thing about me and sometimes I make assumptions about the rest of the wrists in the world.

I have made a number of these stretchy bracelets, all ready for their new home…but as usual, if there is a dog or cat design you like but don’t see – I would be happy to make one to order. Contact us for special requests!

So far in the creative process, I have been lucky that none of the the monst..kitties have a deep interest in beads, so for the most part I only have to battle them over the cords, wires and other strings.

And I spoke too soon…
