These UN-matted prints are positioned onto the dictionary page so that they can be trimmed to sit perfectly in an 8″ x 10″ frame. The age of the dictionary pages makes them somewhat fragile and it is recommended that you take care in framing or matting to avoid tears or other damage.

Designs printed on dictionary (or any recycled printed material) will have some transparency. You should expect to see the printed page through your selected design. This is an intended feature of the design and part of what makes each print unique and utterly charming.
